Dr. Megan Yanik

Dr. Yanik grew up in Detroit, Michigan and is now proud to call San Francisco her home. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame. She moved to Peru after completing her university studies, working at an NGO that provided social services to women and children affected by domestic violence. She then attended medical school at the University of Michigan. She completed her residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, where she gained extensive experience in high risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgery. She has worked on several research projects around the world to help improve women’s reproductive health outcomes, including in Ethiopia, Peru, and Fiji. Dr. Yanik’s interests outside of clinical medicine include hiking, salsa dancing, and traveling.

Dr. Yanik practices full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology, with particular interests in high risk obstetrics, family planning, and comprehensive gynecologic care. She is passionate about providing compassionate, trauma informed care to all of her patients.
